  Unfortunately, in view of the rain over night and the weather forecast, we have decided to postpone the KS1 Sports Day this morning. We will make a decision at 11.30am regarding the KS2 Sports Day scheduled for this afternoon.

• Her Majesty The Queen Trust Statement

  We are deeply saddened to hear about the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and join the nation in mourning her loss.  Our immediate thoughts are with her family, and we join those across the Nation and Commonwealth in remembering her with the deepest of affection and love.  We remember too, the commitment she has shown to all of us throughout her remarkable reign.

• British Record Holder - Mr Hall

  On 23rd January, Mr Hall from Dove Class travelled up to Sheffield to take part in the British Masters Indoor Athletics Championships in the pentathlon (which includes 60m hurdles, long jump, shot put, high jump and 1000m), hoping to become British Champion for the M35 age group. After the five events, he ended up winning the event and breaking the British Record by 74 points, with a score of 3461pts. We are all very proud of his achievement.

  Please do not allow your child to post any personal information on their blogs as this is visible to other families.  Every blog must be approved by a member of staff - so we do not want to disappoint anyone by not allowing their posts.  However, if we feel that there is any content that should not be shared then we will not approve.  Thanks for your support with this.

• Tours for Reception Intake 2020

  We are now able to offer tours of the school to parents of children due to start school in Reception in 2020.  Please note that due to space restrictions and as the tours are during the school day, we are not able to accommodate children or babies on the tours.  Please email or telephone the school office to book a place on a tour on 01480 479890 or office@roundhouse.cambs.sch.uk

   

  The tour dates available are:

  Wednesday 30th October at 1.30pm

  Thursday 31st October at 9.30am

  Thursday 7th November at 9.30am

  Wednesday 13th November at 1.30pm

  Tuesday 19th November at 1.30pm

   

  There are 8 spaces available on each tour.
